Ah, I just love advertising! When I’m not zapping ads, I am paying such close attention…

Last night’s treat was a shampoo with “Cashmere extracts”. Mmm, that sounds nice … soft, silky … except that cashmere comes from GOATS, doesn’t it? Somehow “Pamper yourself with a goat” doesn’t cut it…

Last night I saw an ad for cashmere extracts for your skin. I never knew that goat was such soothing balm for skin and hair. I say bring on more goat products! - Goat tooth paste, goat cuticle remover, goat tinea cure…..

I’m allergic to mohair — does that cut out the shampoo and skin products….

God forbid it prevented me drinking Mountain Goat Beer!!!

Allergic? Goodness me! We must test you out!

First step is a nibble of goat cheese on a cracker,

Then we was your hair with goat shampoo,

brush your teeth with goat-based toothpaste

then proceeding in measured steps until we rub an actual goat on you. You might be cured after all that!

… or perhaps nobody would get close enough to tell…

Or perhaps we could genetically modify you by adding a small amount of goat DNA to your gentetic material. Then you will become part goat and therefore “goat product compatible”
Of course then we could then market you as “Extract of Moontan” for hair and skin.

Have I taken this one step too far??
